Spotlighting our customers
As Gusto launched a new brand in 2019, we also kicked off an out of home campaign in San Francisco and Denver to raise brand awareness.
These ads presented the perfect opportunity to put our customers front and center, and to incorporate various elements of our new visual identity — our new logo, typography, and photography. The photos used in the campaign were shot across the country featuring actual Gusto customers. I lead the charge on determining the photography art direction for the rebrand, and subsequently art directed photoshoots with ten different businesses. I worked with two talented photographers, Colin Price and Kate Rolston.
As a part of the brand campaign, I designed:
9 billboards
30 transit shelters
50 BART posters
45 posters of various sizes
30 bus kings
Car tops that appeared on roughly 350 cards
